Elegancia SG2 Chef Knife Set
Elegancia knives are made by Suncraft in Seki, one of the traditional knife making centers in the Gifu Prefecture.
The set contains of a 200mm Chef knife, an angle stabilizer, a patina removing stone and a 2 sided sharepening stone with a 1000 grit side for sharpening and a 3000 grit side for polishing, The stone has a rubber base for stability.
The set comes in a top quality polished wooden box.
The blade has a SG2 powder metal core layer clad with “san-mai” cladding, the core has a layer of steel on each side.SG2 steel is well known for sharpness and edge retention.
These knives have a very innovative design and are a real eye-catcher. The handles are made out of walnut coloured pakka wood and the the bolster is lead free brass.
This set makes a great long lasting gift in a very attractive and impressive box!
