This Imanishi 4000 grit stone is a fine polishing stone. It doesn’t need soaking before use, just keep the surface wet. This stone is especially good on hard stainless steel blades.
This is not the yellow (tamago) Imanishi 4000, the beige one is a higher quality stone!
