Mr. Kobayashi is a young talented blacksmith working mainly with SG2. This power metal steel is getting more and more popular as a premium knife steel, great edge retention and not the usual care for tarnishing stainless steel. The blade is thin, very light, a real laser with a beautiful damascus finish, The colour at the spine of the knife is darker than towards the edge. The handle is an octagonal Morado wood with a Pakka wood ferrule. Made in Seki!
