Description
Takeshi Saji R2 Karin Santoku Knife with a 180mm blade.
Mr Saji has his workshop in Takefu and he does a lot of interesting knives. Each knife is entirely hand made and because of the high quality of his unique products the waiting time is now several years. For the knife here he uses R2 stainkess Steel and the hammering is slightly different to the usual tsuchime finish by using a pointed hammer. The handle is made out of Karin (Quince) wood and is very unique.
