Description
Senzo Classic Petty Knife with a 150mm blade.
Senzo knives are made by Suncraft in Seki, one of the traditional knife making centers in the Gifu Prefecture.
The blade has a VG-10 core layer clad in 16 layers on each side. VG-10 is one of the most popular high grade stainless steel for kitchen knives. The blades have the “Tsuchime” hammered finish which helps that food is not sticking to the blade.
The handles are western style, made out of black pakka wood and a red fiber spacer between the handle and the stainless steel bolster.
The 150mm petty knife if a nice utility knife and many people with smaller hands use it as their main knife.
