The Tojiro flash range is made out of 63 layers (Chef + Utility) or 37 layers (Paring) of stainless steel in this knife. The cutting core is made out of VG-10 on of the most popular stainless steel in the knife industry. The handles are made out of long lasting micarta with a welded stainless steel bolster. The Flash series is beautiful balanced and the square handle provides a good grip a great support. The set comes in a nice box.
