Tosaichi knives are made in Tosa-Yamada in the Kochi prefecture on Shikohu island in Japan.
Aogami Super is the most advanced steel out of the Aogami range and is hardened to 63hrc, the carbon steel core is clad in stainless SUS405 steel to protect the core layer and reduce the maintenance.
The knives come in a kurochi finish, that is what the knife looks like after the quenching process. The blade comes with a rosewood handle.
