Yu Kurosaki Senko Gyuoto Knife with a 240mm blade.
Yu Kurosaki is one of the rising stars of younger very talented blacksmith. His knives are popular all over the world and therefore supply is limited. He is from Echizen in Fukui, one of the centers for high quality hand forged knives.
The Senko series is made out of powder metal SG2 steel. Using a special hammer gives the blade quite a unique finish. The blade is nicely polished which gives the knife a fresh and clean look. The Senko knives feel very light in the hand and are of course razor sharp. The octagon handle is made out of Morado wood with a blonde pakka wood ferrule.
